It's usually our UK Sales Manager, Richard Halcrow, who gets tasked with writing the post trade show blog post, but as he's been on a cruise around Iceland for the last couple of weeks I thought I'd give it a go.
First and foremost, thanks to all of you who took the time to visit our stand at the recent show.
I'd like to send out a very special thank you to Systech IT Solutions for providing two extremely knowledgeable and friendly guys to help out on our stand - both Chris and Zoe really know their stuff and we're looking forward to working much more together in the future.
It was great to catch up with many existing customers and partners...And to find a few new ones too!
This was Loadbalancer.org's first time exhibiting at the Manchester version of IP EXPO. After many years attending the London event, we can safely confirm that the Northerners are a much more chatty bunch.
We also preferred the location of this show over its London counterpart. There's a much better selection of bars and restaurants in Central Manchester over the East End of London. Our hotel was right opposite the BrewDog bar and I cannot recommend their Jet Black Heart (oatmeal stout) enough.
As I mentioned at the start, the guy who usually organizes our trade shows was kicking back on a cruise ship somewhere in the North Atlantic, so we had to fend for ourselves. Don't worry Richard, we still managed to hand out lots of your business cards for you ;-)
Here's a few photos from the show:
